Drinking Water Treatment Plant
Safe drinking and potable water from groundwater and surface sources.
Water Treatment
Whether it comes from groundwater or surface sources, raw water must be cleaned of its contaminants before it can be supplied to the network. Based on raw water analysis, we design and build plants that remove solids, turbidity, odour, harmful substances and pathogenic microorganisms.
Key features
- Process design tailored to the raw water
- Fully automatic filter backwash
- Remotely monitored dosing and disinfection
- Effluent compliant with drinking water regulations

How does it work?
How does it work?
- 01
Water passes through screens to remove large suspended solids.
- 02
Aeration adds oxygen and oxidises iron and manganese.
- 03
Coagulant and flocculant dosing gathers fine particles into flocs that settle out.
- 04
Sand or multimedia filters remove the remaining turbidity.
- 05
After disinfection (chlorine, UV or ozone) the water is supplied to the network.
Applications
Equipment used in this process

Multimedia Filtration Systems
Automatic filters for turbidity and suspended solids removal.

Activated Carbon Filtration Systems
Removal of colour, taste, odour and organic pollutants.

Chemical Dosing Systems
Automatic dosing of chlorine, pH and other chemicals.

Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection
Inactivation of microorganisms without chemicals.

Reverse Osmosis Systems
Removal of dissolved salts and contaminants with membranes.
