Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we hear most before a project starts.
What information is needed for a quote?
Daily flow (m³/day) or population, the source of wastewater (domestic/industrial), analysis results if available, the discharge point and the site location are enough for a preliminary offer. You can send them via the form on our Contact page.
Should I choose a package plant or a concrete plant?
Package plants are usually more economical up to about 5,000 people and where fast installation is needed (camps, hotels, construction sites). Large municipal plants and industrial zones generally use concrete structures and custom designs. We decide together based on your site.
How long does delivery take?
Standard BİO-MAK® units are built within a few weeks depending on capacity. For large turnkey plants, the schedule ranges from 6 to 18 months depending on civil works and permits.
Do you build plants abroad?
Yes. We have completed projects in 19 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, the Balkans and Latin America. Plants are designed for shipping and containerisation; our team carries out erection and commissioning.
Will the effluent meet discharge standards?
Our plants are designed to Turkish regulations (Water Pollution Control and Urban Wastewater Treatment regulations) and to the legislation of the project country. Performance tests are carried out during commissioning.
Can you operate the plant for us?
Yes. We offer operation contracts covering operators, maintenance and laboratory services, and we can also monitor your plant remotely via SCADA.
Can treated water be reused?
With suitable advanced treatment (filtration, disinfection and membranes if needed), treated water can be reused for irrigation, process or washing water.
Do you take part in public tenders?
Yes. We participate as contractor or subcontractor in tenders of municipalities, water utilities, İller Bankası and industrial zones, and provide technical support during the tender stage.
