Mechanical Equipment
Screens
Mechanical screens that remove coarse and fine solids from wastewater.

Mechanical screens remove solids carried by wastewater and protect pumps and downstream equipment. They are installed in the inlet channel in the direction of flow, and a rake mechanism cleans the screen automatically. A screen generally consists of the bar rack, scraper, rake and drive unit.
