Sludge Dewatering
Belt Press
Economical dewatering for large sludge volumes.

The belt press is a cost-effective dewatering machine for plants producing large amounts of sludge, working on the principle of two belts squeezing the sludge. In the pre-thickening screw, polyelectrolyte mixes with the sludge to form flocs; speed is adjusted to the flow by a frequency converter. The sludge is then spread on a low-pressure drainage zone and squeezed between press rollers and polyester belts. A mono-belt press offers much more economical operation than centrifuges, filter presses and double-belt presses.
