Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant

Biological treatment plants for municipal and domestic wastewater.

Wastewater Treatment

Domestic wastewater treatment plants clean polluted water from communities and return it to nature without harming other water resources. Depending on population, receiving body and discharge standard, we design activated sludge, extended aeration or advanced biological (nitrogen and phosphorus removal) plants.

Key features

  • Nitrogen and phosphorus removal
  • Energy-efficient aeration
  • Full automation with SCADA
  • Reuse of treated water

How does it work?

How does it work?

  1. 01

Screens separate non-biodegradable solids from the wastewater.

  2. 02

Grit and grease traps remove mineral particles and floating grease.

  3. 03

The equalisation tank regulates flow according to the needs of the aeration tank.

  4. 04

In the aeration tank, oxygen supplied by surface aerators or blowers lets bacteria turn organic matter into carbon dioxide and water. The C/N/P ratio and dissolved oxygen are critical operating parameters.

  5. 05

Activated sludge is separated in the final clarifier and returned to the aeration tank.

  6. 06

The clear supernatant passes through filtration and disinfection for high-quality discharge.
